Friday

I didn't have to drive carpool so I actually got my usual morning work plus a few extras done by 8:30 this morning.  Now it is almost 10 and I have done nothing else.  I need to head upstairs to make my children's beds and bring down dirty dishes.  I am dreading it.  My kitchen is nice and clean and after I go upstairs it will look like we had a party.  Our bedroom is on the main floor so I don't always see what is going on upstairs.   I think we are going to have to take some time this weekend to revisit some our rules:  no tv during the week, no eating upstairs unless you absolutely promise to bring everything down, and oh yes!! make your bed.  

I bought some fabric to make some cute Christmas stocking to hang over the fireplace in the breakfast room.  I got some pink madras for daughter, brown cowboyish for one son and zebraish for the other.  I need to get motivated to get going on that project.  I'm also thinking about making those chair back covers with our monograms for the kitchen chairs.  

Once I get the upstairs hurdle over I will probably be more excited to get started.
