Evites

Maybe I'm behind the trend but in the past week I've gotten two evites.  I think these are the first I have ever received.  Both of the invites were related to my children's school activities.  One for a coffee/gift gathering party for the upcoming school auction.   The other for a dinner following a sporting event.  While this does seem to be a great and inexpensive way to invite a large group of people I'm wondering if this is the wave of the future.  Will our kids do all their invitations this way?  You can click on the invitation to see who else will be attending and what comments they have left.  I can definitely see some people wanting to wait and see if the right people are going to a party before committing.  Hopefully, this trend will not spread.
