Amazing Closet Finds

Well, I threw out all my lamaze and breast feeding literature as I was cleaning my closet.  Have not idea why I still had that, I don't think of myself as a packrat.   Talk about a small world.  This year my oldest changed schools because of some very serious problems at his old private boys school (which were never addressed).  While at a swim meet at the new school this fall I saw a Mom who looked familiar, started chatting.  My son had gone to her son's 3rd birthday party 14 years ago.   They were in the same preschool.   Turns out they live near us and our boys do the same sports and band.  Anyway -- the point is -- I found a thank you note from this little boy in one of the boxes in my closet.  Apparently we had given him Candyland.  Seems kind of like a chintzy gift now.  It seems like these birthday party gifts have gotten much bigger.  I told my son he better treat him to Taco Bell to make up for the crummy 3rd birthday present.
