Carpool Procedures

I should really be more patient.  After more years of carpooling and following seemingly senseless drop-off procedures I should know what the beginning of the school year brings.  The drop-off line was endless this morning, backed up past our schools intersection.  It was the first day for the kindergarten classes and though  parents were given the option to park and walk their children into school many decided to try and handle separation anxiety in the drop-off line.  And of course the teachers assigned to drop off duty were (catching up after missing each other all ) clueless.
At pick-up time we have assigned parking spots and we got one of the few you have to back into (huge suvs on either side).   I don't care what kind of car anyone drives but our spots are so tiny I can hardly manage to get my mini van in our spot.  Now I'm going to have to get to school extra early now so I can park first.

Good Morning...thanks so much from stopping by my blog. I remember those carpool days SO fondly (really, I DO). Once my kids started driving we lost a lot of our chat time. I still miss that!
